Coyote Point CX

We went down to Coyote Point and raced bikes.

The season is coming to an end and one of our favorite races starts the wrap up. Coyote Point has been a Bay Area favorite for years, and we were stoked the organizers decided to put it on this year, despite rumors it wouldn't be happening. The course is at a beautiful little park just south of the airport. Minus the turbo jet soundtrack, paired with the whispering of the freeway - the place is quite peaceful.

Ready, set, go. - Mens A's

The course had changed but was still very good for both spectating and riding. There were only a few obstacles to avoid, and no need to dismount your bike. Unfortunately, Matt flatted into the first lap an had to sit out the A's race. Peter and Kurt raced valiantly, and in the end the old man beat out the kid. Kurt landed the third spot on the podium, and some free Cliff Bars for his effort.

Reset, go. - Mens B's

Will, Fergus, Liam and Matt were flying Ornot colors for the B's race. Matt talked his way into the B's knowing full well there would be no competition. After leading the first couple laps (by a lot) he dipped out due to a "flat tire". It was a good workout if nothing else... With Matt out of the race, Fergus was in second place and looking strong. He wrapped up the race pretty quickly and earned Ornot it's second podium of the day.
